These drawings were done as a commission. The Cancer illustration was done to show how cancer and its aftermath can affect one's perception of themselves. Sometimes the patient fells as though they are missing a piece of themselves after surgery or chemotherapy. The Hospice drawing was done to show that even as loved ones are dying it's important to still show that you still care with emotional and sometimes physical intimacy. The Mirror drawing is another illustration of the effects of cancer's ability to alter the patient's perception of themselves. The Silos drawing is to show that in some businesses and institutions each employee can feel or even act as though they are contained in their own little bubble, not effecting or being affected by anyone else within the company.
